Blowin' In The Wind

Yes, This is to be sung in the same sing-song tune as the Bob Dylan Classic :

How many loos must I inspect and check
Before my ass threatens to rive?!
How many times must I keep jerking off
Before I hope to go 'live'?!
How many times must I interview
before I join a stupid club hive?!
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How much hair must I keep picking out
before I have 'nice' mess meal?
How many days should I go without a bath?
Before the dirt starts to peel!
How many kills should one player have
before he is accused of a kill-steal?!
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many times must I slog my ass off
before I inevitably get a DD?
How many Sports-complex dances will it take
before he roams the 'romantic' streets of GB?
How many kills should EnViCi execute
Before he's no longer considered a noobie?!
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

Global Economic History

The Great Divergence The book starts with absolutely no frills and gets straight to the point. It talks about 3 phases in the recent history of the world since 1500. From 1500 to 1800 - lots of mercantile stuff. From 1800 to mid-1900's (I think) - Industrial revolution mid-1900s to now - He talks about the "Great Push" There is this divergence in the ability of the country to multiply its GDP. Some rich European countries and USA multiplied by 35 to 50 times whereas countries in Africa only managed 5 to 7 at max. Suprisingly, Japan, Taiwan and S.Korea majorly kicked butt at this trend to be an outlier on that divergence graph. They really leapfrogged to development. It is also interesting to note how China and India dominated world production in 1750 and down to pretty much minuscule percentage in 1950. China is ramping up and if it goes back that is one full circle. It is also interesting to note that India and China were pushed back to manufacture commoditie

How to create a mind.

Picked up this book at Word in Jersey City on a weekend afternoon. Did not realize at the time as to how old the book was. It made for a fascinating reading when on a five hour plane ride from Newark to San Diego. The coffee and the calmness conspired to motivate me to read this book with an attentive zeal I‌ had not experienced in years. The book is indeed awe-inspiring as the author starts to tear into the meat of the matter. Started to read this book again after a long gap. Started reading at chapter 3. The book talks about how the neocortex of the brain separates mammals from non-mammals and how the presence of a large neocortex has enabled humans to essentially dominate the animal kingdom. As a species, humans have evolved so drastically so as to be on the verge of creating the very intelligence that helped it gain that dominance. Scientific research shows how most of the neocortex is very uniform and the fundamental structure that makes up this uniformity is a neocortical c
