During the course of revamping the blog, I looked at drafts on the blog. Penning this on July 18th, 2022. It is 11:17PM and I am at the same desk I used to study during my 11th and 12th. The JEE prep days and I was going through this blog in a bout of nostalgia. Words will never do justice to the pure power that this house embodies. It is like a part of consciousness always hung around here and a part of me was always missing from me when I was thousands of miles away. When I landed here on the 30th of June with Taru , Lakki and Mummy, it did not take me more than 4 days to fall back in love with Bengaluru. I could smell the welcome in the air. It is perhaps the monsoons and it is perhaps my want and need to have Tara experience my childhood (a goal I admittedly flicked from my good friend Abi) or perhaps it was just the small peek into a comfortable life in high-rise apartments that made me re-evaluate my idea of Bangalore and life in India.
